Match report ok so to the biggest game of the Girls lifes, Chichester have demolished North london, so its us versus them for a place in the final and the possibility of getting to the national finals.

They are huge, and one of them bowlers proper wheels , but David did defeat Goliath!!, Flo wins the toss and sticks to the game plan of bowling first.

Bang bang bang, their openers smash it everywhere and frankly we are a bit shell shocked, but we fight back in overs 6-9, Hannah bowls the final over and bowls it well but too crucial misfields on the boundary mean 10 come form the over, this will haunt us later.

So 85 to chase down in 10 overs and "Brett Lee" opening up, Georgia opens up and smashs Brett down the ground for 4 second ball of the game, this kicks of the innings and 9 come from the first over, come on David!!, Aisha is run out coming back for a second and Georgia plays over one to be bowled, then Flo is caught at deep mid wicket having smashed a full toss, the dream looks over!!.

Never let it be said these girls do not have spirit, out comes Maddie who 8 weeks ago had only played beach cricket, and she smashes it everywhere, her and Emma B, put on over 40 and the dream is alive, cruelly though Maddie has to retire on a fab 26, and as hard as Polly and Hannah try Brett lee is too much and we finish 12 runs short.

What a game, what spirit, the chichester coach now tells me Brett lee bowls for the Sussex county ladies u21 team!!, but he is very impressed with our young Turks, but no cigar for second so Chichester go into the final and we will face Wanstead for 3rd/4th place.
