Match report On a sunny evening at Hadleigh

Hadleigh won the toss and decided to bat.

Key points from the game were:

Hadleigh scored 272 for 6 and Copdock Phoenix scored 303 for 6

Phoenix wicket takers were:

Ben Shiraz 3 wickets
Billy Foyster 1 wicket
Freddie Skinner 1 wicket
James Taylor 1 wicket

Also George Garnham and Fergus Quinn both bowled their two overs each very economically.

Freddie and Ben shared the wicket keeping and both did well.

Generally the bowling and the fielding was good and the team were well captained by Freddie Skinner.

Then when the Pheonix batted, all the team did well, with the partnerships being as follows with Ben and Billy having to bat twice as the Phoenix's only had 7 players.

Freddie and Ben scoring 33 for 1 in their 4 overs
Billy and Fergus scoring 31 for 0 in their 4 overs
Alex Kelly and James scoring 34 for 1 in their 4 overs
George batting with Ben for 2 overs and Billy for 2 overs scoring 35 for 4 in their 4 overs

So a good 31 run win and good learning for all the team and some good performances on show too.
