Match report A close match, with Copdock eventually losing by just 5 runs.

Batting first, Copdock made 19 runs of their 16 overs, for the loss of 5 wickets. Top scores went to Ibrahim Mohsin and Henry King, both making an unbeaten 21, scoring at more than a run a ball.

East Bergholt got off to a flyer and despite the loss of a couple of early wickets, were clearly ahead halfway through their innings, with their star player Oscar Brown making an unbeaten 28 off 14 balls (5 fours and 1 six). However, with their top order gone, Copdock dug in and bowled much tighter, taking their wicket total up to 7 (top bowling by Jowin Jose, taking 3 wickets for just 8 runs off 2 overs), but East Bergholt got over the line, winning by just 5 runs. Another wicket (worth 5 runs), or stopping one of their boundaries could have made all the difference.
