Match report The Panthers began their season on a freezing night at Felixstowe. Captain Sophie won the toss and chose to field, probably trying to avoid the wind chill factor at 7pm!. In tough conditions the team bowled well with only 16 wides in the whole innings, and two great catches one by Caitlin and one by Celeste.
Batting wise against a young opposition it was hard as many balls rolled along the floor but we did hit some fab shots, though full and straight and some calling issues highlighted issues to work on.
In the end a winning margin of over 50 was a fair reflection of the two teams. lots of positives and thankfully no frostbite so onwards and upwards
