Match report The Mustangs made the long journey to Worlington with some of the side judging the journey time better than others. Massive thx to Colin and Worlington Cc for good hospitality and a grass pitch!!.
Thankfully we won the toss and batted first, the first two pairs found life difficult on a slow pitch but extras kept the board ticking, it wasn't until JJ and Shanjeal got going we looked like posting a decent score, and this was followed by some fabulous(watch and learn 3 other pairs!!) running between the wickets from Alex and Rory who added 44 in the last 4 overs, so 316 to defend and a decent effort with the bat,
The next 3o minutes was torture as a talented team bowled poorly, fielded as badly and seemed intent on an England Football team style exit!!. Thanfully JJ bowled well, and Kj came back at the end . The final margin of victory 37 runs probably flattered us, but we got over the line and into the final so well done boys, but key lessons to be learnt.
