Match report Copdock U11's progressed to the quarter finals of the cup with a comprehensive win at home against Woolpit. Having lost the toss and put into bat on a damp wicket the boys, captained by Alex Dunning who led by example with bat, ball and in the field, put up a commanding total of 322 runs in 16 overs with only two wickets falling. Particular mention to JJ who was out the blocks like a sprinter setting the right tone, Rory Hollis for good shot selection and the final pairing of skipper Alex and Will Stace who seemed to score with ease from every delivery including a beautifully timed 4 by Will with the last ball. In the field it was pleasing to see wickets being taken regularly including three run outs and the game was closed out after 10 overs. Woolpit finished on 249 And we now look forward to the next round
