Copdock skipper Daniel Leggett won the toss and elected to bowl first which proved to be a wise decision on another glorious sunny evening at the Oval.

Coach Skinner had set a target of 200 runs in the 20 overs and the boys set about to hit the total with some good positive batting from the start. Everyone played their part in the innings and strike rates were considerably higher than in previous matches, which was great to see. Copdock reached the target of 200 on the last ball of the 20th over.

Oliver Stace opened the bowling with his off cutters and in tandem with Byron kept the Felixstowe openers from getting off to a flyer. From there bowling changes were frequent and a total of 7 bowlers were used. Once again everyone made a good contribution with the ball and the fielding was tight with good positioning from the captain. A special thanks to our two Under 11's who played tonight. Kajeai and Will both looking very much at home with the Under 15's boys.

Lots of positives to take forward into our next games.
