Match report The Dragons roller coaster continued with the annual trip away to Mildenhall. Disappointing to be playing on the artificial but a wonderful sporting gesture from them to reverse the toss as we only had 7 on deck at the start of the game!!.

Batting first we put in arguably our best "team" performance with the bat. Daniel batted very well, playing some lovely shots off his legs, Lewis started nervously, got horribly stuck patting back full toss's, then finished with a excellent array of attacking shots to retire on 32. Dillon kept up his good from this year with some great footwork and shots all round the wicket . Charlie finished with a flourish, and 145 was a good effort.

At the break the talk was all about the first 10 overs and building pressure. Skipper Stace started well striking with his 3rd ball, but from this point on things unravelled at a pace!. A series of shot or leg side balls saw the hosts rattling along at 7 an over and us unable to stem the tide, coupled with some lack lustre fielding, 4 dropped catches and at least 3 missed run out opportunities it appeared that we could indeed snatch defeat from the jams of victory.
Crucial Tweedy caught Colby, Oli Mex put in a decent set, and then Dan and Oli showed their quality with some good death bowling, and Copdock home by 13 runs, phew......

Again lessons to learn about bowling disciplines, fields to set, and taking chances when they come, but wins away at Mdhall are rare and as such a good win..
