Match report Copdock U13's demolished Easton in style to set up a Suffolk Cup Final later this month.

Batting first Easton struggled to put away any of the 9 Copdock bowlers used due to superb bowling combinations and outsatnding contributions in the field. Jacob Marston was in fine form with the gloves again taking two sharp stumpings whilst a stunning run out from Olly Stace heaped on even more misery.

Stace had a double wicket maiden in his second spell, Atkins took a further 2 for 3 off his 3 over spell and Man of the Match Daniel Leggett took 2 for 7 off from 4 overs.

Whitehead also bowled well earning an knowing nod from Club Chairman Steve Gauke who watched on mightily impressed by the young Copdock side. Dillon Hatcher bowled two overs for 1 run and Harry Reddinton, Copdock's 9th Bowler only conceded 2.

After 20 overs Easton were 61 for 8. Job half done.

Marston and Atkins opened for Copdock and brushed aside some very ordinary bowling from Easton before Atkins feel for 16. Charles Wareham was in his usaul beligerent batting mood and rushed to 14 with three fours before falling to a canny ball from Aucherlonie.

Tom Jermy was bowled off the last ball of the 12th over with Copdock needing 1 for victory. Easton bowled a wide handing bragging rights and a cup final spot to a very well drilled Copdock U13 side.
