Match report The U13's set up a semi-final home tie against either Melton or Easton with a classy performance against FandCY.

Batting first on a green pitch in pretty poor light (which was only to get worse) the U13's took full advantage of a postage stamp sized pitch smashing boundaries to all four corners of the ground. With 10 overs gone, Copdock were finely poised on 74 for 3.

Man of the Match James Doig got off to a slow start before retiring on 33 not out which brouhgt Charles Wareham in who smashed 22 off a single over before also retiring on on 33 not out.

Although Copdock wickets feel regularly the run rate continued to climb and as the 8th wicket fell James Doig returned to the middle continuing where he had left off soring a further 15 runs from 5 balls before holing out just short of his half century on 48. Charles Wareham retuned by which stage FandCY's bowlers were sick of the sight of Copdock batsmen.

Wareham finished on 39 not out

In reply FandCY were 1 down after the first over and although Sheppard and Challis offered some resistance (both scoring 25 each before being bowled) few other FandCY players got themselves going as Copdocks bowling and fielding plans were very well executed.

FandCY made 92 for 8 from their 20 over allocation - Copdock running out as easy victors by 69 runs. FandCY only achieved 10 boundaries to Copdocks 26 including 6 sixes.
