Match report A Patched up Pheonix travelled to Walsham and gave debuts to young Shannjael and Carrie, thanks to all those who stepped up to play and all those who helped transport them there.

Batting first we showed a continued improvement in the maturity of our batting with better shot selection, and calling and running, in fact it wasn't until the third pair we lost a wicket with poor old Kit run out after diving into the crease then being called to run whilst laying face down..

But we kept out composure, and final total of 288-5 was a good effort.

Kajeal got of off to a great start with 2 wickets in his first over, and we continued this momentum. Shannjeal and Carrie bowled well, with Carrie taking the bowling honours with 3-6,. Skipper Oli Mann lead the side with real enthusiasm.

Ewans keeping continues to improve match by match, and a winning margin of 70 runs despite being 1 fielder short was no more than the team deserved.

Next game away to Stowmarket is a big game for Pheonix if they are to win their league this year..
