Match report The Dragons duly clinched their league title with a highly professional performance away at East Bergholt.

Despite playing with only 9 due to a very late call of, and with a number of new young faces in the ranks, the Dragons played very well to win by a crushing 124 runs..

Batting first , it took us a while to adapt to the greater bounce of the artificial pitch. Will B and Monty gave us a good start, which was continued by Archie and Jack. It wasn't until the 3rd pair we lost our first wicket, and then Will M hit 15 off the last over to propel us to 335 -2.

Will's work wsnt done yet, opening up with his spin , he took a wicket 6th ball thanks to a good stumping by Jack. All the bowlers did well lead by Will B 3 overs fro 1 run and a wicket...

The young team , as ever well lead by James W fielded to a very high standard, and the reading of the game , backing up and anticipation even had the old Coach purring, the highlight being a good pick up and throw by Harry resulting in a direct run out.

The boys should be very proud of a high class performance, and great team work and sportsman ship, as the club should be proud of them..
