Match report After heavy down poor moments before the game was due to start, both sides were very lucky to get the game under way.

Thankfully the weather soon passed and Copdock took to the field with the ball. Copdock struggled early on in the slippery conditions and IES took advantage with some solid strokes. Copdock had to wait until the 13th over to get the first break through, and it came from some brilliant bowling from Donald Mlambo. Mlambo bowled with great control and was unlucky to not pick up another. This was Copdocks only wicket throughout the innings, however with some great control and outstanding fielding Copdock restricted IES to just 111/1.

Copdock Started steady with the Bat, Jack Spinner and the young under 13, Daniel Leggett batted with great maturity and concentration to get Copdock close to the target, and after Spinner had to retire on 50 and Leggett was run out on 32 it was left to the final over of the game were Copdock needed just 10 off of it. After two heavy blows to the boundary and a quickly scrambled single Copdock needed just 1 off of the last ball to win! The Copdock batsman, however, were not required as the bowler unfortunately bowled a wide to give Copdock the win.

Once again thanks to the U13s that stepped up to play, non of which looked out of place at any point throughout the game.
