Match report Oh dear oh dear, from the Highs of the good performance at Walsham to the lows of a performance arguably as bad as we have played for a very long time.

Bowling first we seemed lethargic in the field,, and gifted the home side 20 wides, and countless runs as the ball disappeared through our legs for 4.... Oli Mann was the pick of the bowlers, and good to see Shannjeal get a wicket thank to a good catch by Ewan, apart from that hard to find too many positives..

Just when the coach thought it couldn't get any worse we batted terribly, Oli and young Shannjeal did well against the County u11 opening bowler, then the middle pairs had a nightmare, a succession of crazy run ours and us being bowled swinging across straight balls saw the match slip away, and with it probably the chance of winning the league Pheonix are in. Ewan and Kit restored some pride in the last pair, but a performance that really hurt, and one we need to learn from and move on from quickly.
