Match report Copdock travelled to the once magnificent ground at Ransomes which now sadly resembles a dump!

On a sultry evening skipper Bull lost the toss and we were put in on a poor looking pitch which last saw water when Moses was a small boy!

Oscar B combined saw good shots with other more curious efforts before he was caught at the third time of asking for a good 40, Will continued his good form with a classy 25 before being bowled by a pee roller !!, Charlie Lewis then showed us what we had been missing with a good 21 and with James G adding a few lusty blows we mad it to 134.

The st Margerets innings went off like a whirl wind with the first 6 overs bringing 34 runs and 5 wickets! , some good bowling by Skipper Josh B, some amazing hitting by Samuels and lots of time spent trying to get the stumps back into the ground!!

Wickets continued to fall including Glyn on a hat-rick, but still Samuels blazed away, hitting 3 sixes on his way to retirement. By the 16th over the score was 101-8, then 9 as Alex B bowled Kite, this brought back in Samuels, could his heroics win the game for them??, he started well with another 6!!

Good tactics by Bull then saw us crowding the other batter off Jack R, he tried to go big over the top but only skied it high, cool James G grapped it and we had won by 33.
