Match report Wow, two games in 3 days and both go down to the last ball, thankfully and desevedley the boys won this time.
Batting first we again lost Bryan early on and Tom followed shortly, but a stand of 76 between charlie and Luke recovered the situation, both batters enjoyed a slice of luck but both also put away the bad ball well. A final total of 118-4 was a slight improvement, but a much better display on a pitch that could be tricky.
James B got the break through but again a good stand took IES to 57 before Harry and Tom G both took two wickets in an over, some poor shots by IES but good catching by Copdock. So it all comes down to the last over 10 needed, after 5 balls only 3 needed from 3 remaining balls but Oli steams in a bowls three dots balls to see the boys home.
Overall a much improved display and notably the fielding with Tom W and Tom G taking top honours with an outstanding display of commitment energy and bravery, well done these two and all others in a very exciting and good win.
