Match report Carnegie racked up another away win to extend their unbeaten run to 3 out of 3 with another impressive display away to Stowmarket.

Batting first Will Jones and Charlie Lewis got Phoenix off to a steady start and despite a mid innings wobble (which saw four wickets tumble to the impressive Stowmarket bowler Mardell) Joe Martin, Angus Bissett and Alex Bryanton all contributed to the score.

Jack Pickering (on debut) and Will Oxbrow cranked up the run rate putting on 20+ runs in the final couple of overs with some fine running between the wickets.

Stowmarket never really broke the shackles of the Copdock bowlers and struggled to score until late in the innings.

Man of the match could have gone to a number of players - George Ault impressing with the ball and Jack Pickering on debut with the bat, but Will Oxbrow's contribution to putting distance between the likely score of Stowmarket and our final score, plus a fine bowling spell and tightfielding secured him the accolade.
