Match report A very closely fought match, with a lot of friendly banter. Again, as when the sides met earlier in the season it was a low scorring afair. With the pitch looking green and the overhead conditions helpful, Mistley won the toss and decided to bat. This looked like a toss to loose as Chris Swallow wasn't sure if to bat or field, but when Mistley were reduced to 39 for 4 after 9 overs it looked like Copdock were in the box seat. Some tenious play saw Mistley get to 150 all out from 46.5 overs. In reply Copdock started well but a steady fall of wickets saw Copdock at 125 for 8 in the 35th over. Some sure footed batting by Hugh Thomas, J Druitt and the Lewis "The Cat" Catlow, saw the cat squeeze the winning 4 to seal a wonderful win & game. Great Cricket.
