Match report back to winning ways... just... In typical Copdock style we made what should have been an easy chase very difficult. Having bowled well, nose and Jenko bowled well first up, bowling 6 maidens in a row between them and picking up the odd wicket. Pidge picked up 4 and eek one. 167 should not have been enough. At Tea we thought it was 70 short at least. The moments that stand out were an excellent catch by Ricey in the deep and Nose being up ended by a fly. Reuben also fell over his own feet while watching a ball go for 4. Copdock started dreadfully and were 17-4. Thomas had 12 of them before being caught at Mid on. Sharpe did the same two balls later and then nelly was out first ball. Sasha was 4th out for the league's longest duck, adjudged LBW. Pidge and Pope put on 50 and Popey was out caught and the score was 68 for 5, then Pidge was shot out LBW for 19 and it was 74 for 6. Nose and Kinga slowly began to turn things around and put on 60 odd before nose hit a long hop to mid on and it was 124 for 7. Jenko came in and scored a quick 28 not out and with Kinga not out on 37 the boys took 20 points.
