Match report So back to winning ways after the "Nowton incident"

Skip won the toss and chose to bat on the hottest day of the year. Batting was never easy, Elmswell bowled decently, the pitch was up nd down and it still a blacksmiths swipe to get it to go for 4.

The side were indebted to Nick for a battling 50, and some lusty hitting from ken with a good 40. 177 probably a challenging total .

Our young bucks Tom and Nathan aided by some fine catching put the game to bed by reducing them to 12-4, the wickets were shared around as we bowled them out for 48.

Good effort in the field boys with lots of good standards which will bear us in good stead for tougher games ahead.
