Match report So a first taste of defeat of the season, but despite that so many positives from the game.

On a pitch which could at best be called "tired" skip won the toss and chose to bat, we quickly slumped to 16-4 before Nathan jojned Peter, these two dug in and showed great resilience and added 50. The drinks break did for both but then the the Carbutts kept up the good work with Ed going on to top score with a very good 40 red. 150 was a great effort and gave us a chance.

Our young attack started well with Tom getting the break through . Staton bludgeoned 50 for the home team before being well caught by Nathan off Tom. With the ball it was the Elliston show with Dan and Tom keeping us in the game. At 110-8 we arguable should have won the game , but Nowtons skipper game in and played very well to win the game by one wicket.

fab effort from our boys and skip very proud, so onward and upwards..
