Match report On a sunny, but cold, evening at Stowmarket.

Stowmarket won the toss and decided to field.

Key points from the game were:

Copdock Falcons scored 131 for 4 and Stowmarket 90 for 4.

The Falcons batted solidly and those that retired were:

Archie Miller retired 26.
Charlie Laws retired 18.
Freddie Skinner retired 12.

Ollie Van Slooten also hit a couple of good 4's during his innings of 19.
Ben Shiraz was out for 10 and George Wright was out for 7.
Harry Cuzner was 2 not out.

When the Falcons bowled their wicket takers were:

Charlie Laws 2 wickets
George Wright 1 wicket
and there was one run out

All the team bowled well, but a special mention must go to James Taylor who bowled his 3 overs, for just 4 runs, at a very crucial stage of the innings and helped swing things back into the Falcons control.

Ollie Van Slooten kept wicket well too.

Generally the fielding was good and the team were well captained by Freddie Skinner.

So a good 41 run win and good learning for all the team and some good performances on show too.
