Match report On a very sunny evening at East Bergholt

East Bergholt won the toss and decided to bat.

Key points from the game were:

Copdock Eagles scored 71 for 5 and East Bergholt scored 65 for 7

When the Eagles fielded, generally their bowling was all very good, (with the pick of the bowlers being, Freddie Skinner 3 overs for 5 runs, James Taylor 3 overs for 7 runs and Nathan Hames who bowled his 3 overs for 9 runs, including the last over of the innings that only went for 2 runs, the fielding was okay too, but for sure more energy and concentration is still needed in the field, and awareness of fielding positions too, however the team were well captained by Alex Kelly.

For the Eagles the wickets were taken by:

Torin Maynard 1 wicket
James Taylor 1 wicket
Freddie Skinner 1 wicket

Rory Hargreave kept wicket well too.

Alex Kelly retired for 10
Nathan Hames retired for 6
Rory Hargreave in the context of the game when the match could have gone either way had he got out finished with a very important 7 not out
Ben Shiraz out for 10
Henry Lamb out for 8

But in the end a good win by 12 runs and well done to all the team.
