Match report A powerful batting display across the whole Sharks team gave the boys a strong foundation to dominate IES throughout the match winning 367 runs to 227. A measured innings by Aman Khan supported by quick singles from W. Stace set a positive tone. K. Tharaneetharan hit consecutive boundaries with Harry Laws offering defiant resistance at the other end. Pair 3 saw S. Tharaneetharan and P Strand attack the IES bowling at every opportunity followed by skipper Oscar Taylor and William Woods fleet of foot between the stumps to run up excellent quick ones and twos. Harry Gledhill and H Strand hit what they could during a spell of bowling littered with wides. In the field the Sharks started brightly and maintained a decent bowling performance. To their own admittance after the game everyone felt improvements could be made with backing up but i was pleased to see great team support and congratulations throughout especially when wickets fell - which happened with regularity across the bowling attack. Well done Sharks, a team getting stronger with every match.
