Match report Stowmarket only had six players, 2 of which were a little young and most not having experienced hard ball cricket. Copdock had the full ten players listed + one spare. To get a match on, William Mann was happy to join in with the Stow team, whilst we provided three fielders at all time to make up ten boys in the field and rotated these as much as possible.

The final score was Stowmarket 229 - Copdock 302.

Points to raise from the game and players that stood out were.

Ben Bradshaw volunteered to keep wicket and did a great job, even more so when you consider he has not worn Helmet and pads or had to face the hard ball in a match before.

Alex Dunning with a bit of help selecting pairs and bowling captained with super confidence. He also top scored with 28 off 3 overs and bowled very well including the final over.

Archie Magnus bowled spin very well, took 2 wickets and went for - 7.

Isaac Humberstone hit the stumps 4 times out of his 12 balls, one wide & 6 dot balls went for - 17

The best player for Stowmarket was our own William Mann, who bowled very well and tonked a few for 4, including one lost in a local garden.

Copdock's fielding was excellent, good backing up, and everybody putting bodies on the line to prevent runs.

Thanks to Georgina for all her support and making sure all the players were at the right place at the right time and Tom Kings dad, Steve, who scored for Copdock.
