Match report So on a pleasant evening the Crusaders season finally began away at Kesgrave.

Bowling first on a fab pitch(well done KCC!), Sam struck in the first over, after that wickets were hard to come by, but our bowling was generally tidy, and with Harry and Jo offering fab encouragement to the 10(always good to field with 10, not!), and on a very fast outfield we battled to stay in the game. In the field Charlie T on debut was full of energy and great stops, Max and Alex both took one in the chest for the team, and stand in keeper Jo, got a good stumping off the deserving Jake. The only black mark was a couple of simple chances that should have been taken, more catching practice this Sunday.. drinks were taken with us needing 124 in our 20 overs to win.

Skipper Harry, and Charlie strode the crease , and after 3 overs we had 25!!, after this we never looked back, with assured decision making we blocked the good uns and hit the bad balls with some effect. Eventually both had to retire on 30, and Jo and Max took up the reigns, after some initial "calling confusion" they got in to taking a series of astute singles to keep the board ticking, and with Jo growing he confidence and being very severe on anything short we raced home with Jo hitting 3 fours in the 16th over to seal a 10wicket win with 4 overs to spare.

coach almost speechless at the quality of the performance, and so proud to see how far some of our youngsters have progressed through hard work and sure determination to get better.

A very proud night for the club when our u13 development side beat another club by 10 wickets and in such style...
