Match report The U13's ran out comfortable winners against FandCY to rack up a first win of the season on a blustery evening at the Copdock 'Oval'. Batting first The U13 top order got us off to a flyer racking up 82 of the first ten overs and amassing an impressive 155 for 4 off 20.

Jacob Marston, Fergus Atkins and Tom Jermy all retired not out on 30-30+ whilst the rest of the order all made useful contributions.

Ross Spinner earned the 'One for the Team' award when he was run out in the most bizarre fashion deflecting a wickedly smashed ball back past the bowler from Tom Jermy which crashed into his backside whilst backing up and left him stranded in the middle of the wicket.

FandCy struggled to make inroads into the stiff target set by Copdock and lost wickets regularly along the way as Captain Fergus Atkins made use of an opportunity to bowl as many players as possible, however pick of the bowlers was Ben Bryanton who broke the back of the Felixstowe innings picking up 3 for 4 off his first over. Oscar Bissett took a wicket in his first over and the delight on his face was worth tipping up to watch on its own.

FandCY finished on 114 for 7. Jacob Marston was nominated Man of the Match for his 31 not out and three stumpings, although the accolade could have gone to any number of players such was the team performance and spirit.
