Match report Good performance from the 3rds - with 300 being scored for the first time in a long time!!! This was mainly down to an excellent 150 opening stand between Dave Searle and Dick Ward in just 23 overs after the captain had lost the toss!!! When these two were out it was then down to Felix Ward who played a superb innings of 80 taking advantage of a dropped catch and a missed stumping to give the innings renewed impetus backed up by good cameos from Chez and Stuart Ward and the innings ended with a huge six from Andy Leggett.

The bowling was lead by young-leg spinner Patrick Young who took his first 5 wicket haul for the club and he was well backed up by Seekers and Boults who both picked up a couple of wickets each.

Overall a good performance and it's nice to get back to winning ways!!!
