Match report well so our first ever u17 game ends in a last ball defeat.

After a wretched batting display by the top 6, the team were indepted to Oli williams hard hit 48no to post a total of 116-8 in their 15 8 ball overs.
At 69-1 in the 8th over the game looked dead but two wickets in an over from skipper ward breathed live back into the game. With 11 wanted from the final over suerly the home team had it in the bag, no two poor bist of fielding cost 2 boundaries and with 2 needed from the final ball the IES batter kept his nerve to smash it for 4.
In all honesty our performance did not deserve victory wioth the top order batting and fielding being a real cause for concern, on the plus side our bowlers stuck at it and gave us some hope, return match on wed night lets hope the real copdock turn up.
