Match report Copdock won the toss and elected to bat first on a soft pitch with short boundaries and long grass in the outfield. A slow start on a track with variable bounce was ignited when Dagan Whitehead joined Archie Wilkinson at the crease and the youngsters batted with great maturity, Alex scoring 27 before falling to a dubious LBW decision (cheers Dad) while Dagan knocked up his maiden 50 for the 3rds before being caught on the boundary.
All out for 125 in 34.3 overs, the bowlers were left with little to defend however they made Lexden work hard for their victory which took 46.2 overs to achieve for the cost of 7 wickets.
