I hope you are all looking forward to the start of the season!
I am emailing to advise how the bar and food service will work for the next 4 weeks. We plan to deliver a full menu similar to previous years including, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, burgers etc and our Sunday morning big breakfasts! The only difference for the immediate future will be in how we serve food and drinks.
For eat in food, we are only able to offer table service. Therefore, if you would like to order food to eat on the premises, please do come and take a seat via the one way system into our marquee eating area. One of our members of staff will then come and take your order. For exceptionally busy periods, we do have an overflow seating area in front of the decking which we plan to have open on a Friday evening, a Saturday and a Sunday morning. We do please ask that unless you are ordering food or drink, that you do not use these seating areas. This method of service is the only way that we can serve you food and drink to eat on site.
We are able to serve takeaway orders, but these orders must be consumed off the premises, so please only use this option if you will be taking the food home. Orders can be placed under the marquee at the front of the pavilion, and you will then be directed to the waiting area in front of the marquee. We can prepare food to be collected at the end of training sessions to be taken home, but please do order at the start of training.
For the time being, our only payment method will be via credit/debit card. We will not be accepting cash or members card payments. We do plan to allow members card payments once restrictions relax so that we can allow members inside the pavilion, as the terminal is fixed in the bar.
I realise this is different to how the process was set up last year, but we have worked hard to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all to enjoy a meal or a drink and we would really appreciate your cooperation in making this work.
