Sudbury v Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club 1st XI on Sat 20 Jun 2009 at 1.00pm
Match was Abandoned

Match report Well.... what a day!!!! Sudbury won the toss and stuck the Mighty Copdock in to bat! Ashwin made it to the ground, only after Chris Swallow had driven to Sudbury with Ash's mum on loud speaker! Ash shared round his pack lunch, Burchy called his mum to say Ash had eaten most of his tuna rolls and had also had a glass of milk. she seemed happy enough! Jerv was promoted to open the batting and scored a single, which Sharpe put down as a leg bye, so Jerv was adjudged LBW for a duck, which made Reuben smile. Ben batted at 3 again and smashed it every where.... Pidge joined him and did exactly the same... Archie was another harsly adjudged LBW and returned to the solace of the changing room for some poetry reading. Ben rapidly went passed a ton and Pidge smashed his way passed 50! Copdock were 249-3 with 3 overs still to go, when the rain finally stopped the match for the final time! As Exning got turned over at Dog poo park, it was a shame..... Although made easier to bare as the batting looks in good order and Archie read us all a poem! Probably the most I've enjoyed a day of doing nothing!!!! I love you guys!!! And Burchy didn't make any children cry!!!!!!

The future's Bright, the Futuure's Copdock!
