Match report Well the side.. having played three won three travelled to the mighty Wiv this saturday!!! There was a school game so it looked as though the sides general hair would be in better shape... Eek aware of this drafted in Jonny Rice ( shocking hair ) and Popey ( simply bizarre hair )from the seconds. Popey deserved his call up with a string of excellent scores this season ands would bat at three! The pitch and outfield.. well....which was which???? When we had decided with the umpires and home team captain we started on a place near the middle of the field! Eek won the toss and bowled first. Ben and Jerv sent shivers through the home team's line up with the promise of raw pace. Jerv was well bloody slow... the Graham Swan experiment lasted 2 overs!!Chris came on and did his usual.. picked up wickets and gave nothing away... but a 14 year old did smash him through the covers twice!!! Eek bowled well too and Jenks even picked up a couple of wickets with his darts... He did also bottle a caught and boiwled by sticking a boot out.. the shame... this terrified approach to the ball continued with his batting!! Ben continued to bowl well and finished with 4 scalps!!! A great caught and bowled finished it! Ben now had comfortably more wickets than runs!!! Copdock then batted and Ben and Jenks shot out of the blocks.. Jenko smashed it from near the square leg unpire... What could have been a tricky chase was made easy when these two added 65 for the first wicket. Jenko departed, scared.. Ben continued and made a great 65 before getting bored!!! A wobble was on the cards as Sharpe went for bugger all again....good catch... but old reliable,Nose, saw the boys home with the finest of 18's you are ever likely to see....beautiful...

20 pts.. better team effort and the batting looked better... also good to see Chris not getting 60 again!!!
