Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club Won by 15 runs

Match report A good match against an athletic IES side. Batting first we struggled with runs from the bat due partly to some wayward bowling, and the long outfield, a final total of 30 from our 6 overs was indebted much to mr Wide.

When it was our turn to bowl perhaps all those hours practising bowling in the winter paid dividends as we bowled only 4 wides in our 6 overs, great effort boys!, wickets shared between the boys. Our fielding was much improved from game 1, and with the 4 wickets we took we secured a hard fought by deserved victory.

Well done to all the boys much to be pleased about in our first games of the season, and much to work.
