Match report On a lovely evening we welcomed Hadleigh to the Oval. Big thx to Nick and Ian for supporting which allowed the coach to just get excited as opposed to getting excited and having to umpire!. Skipper Isaac won the toss and chose to bowl. The Hadleigh opening pair played well and on a good wicket and fast outfield runs came quickly. We bowled ok, and Isaac kept wicket well, but our ground fielding, backing up, catching and throwing all left lots to be desired. So at the half way point 106 to Hadleigh and 25 to Copdock.

Opening up Isaac and Will W got us off to a good start until the skip was run out turning slowly for a 2 he should have made, Will W then had to retire thru injury. This brought together young Ish and George who ran well and kept the board ticking until they both had to retire. Kavish came and went quickly with an ugly shot, but Alfie , owen and Will S saw us home with some with good batting, only 2 wickets lost and a good win against a decent Hadleigh team.

Big issues for us to work on: Ground fielding, quality of throws to keeper(Hadleigh so much better than us at this), backing up, and calling when running between wickets
