Match report Despite the loss through holiday of their inspirational skipper and his astute comments before and during the game, this season's 3rd XI success story rolls on - the skipper has already made a provisional end of season booking for a trip to Colchester Zoo. Wivenhoe batted first and with early scalps and 2 consistent spells of bowling by the Senior Pro Oliver Gravell (God help anyone who crossed him in Court on Monday morning!) reduced Wivenhoe to a derisory 234 for 6. Little chance of that being sufficient! With a maiden ton from Bungle (a Yard is promised at the end of season Dinner) and good batting from Tom Davey, The Bursar and Mark Burch saw us home easily with a couple of over to spare. Roll on Brightlingsea!!
