Match report Carnegie got back to winning ways after almost three weeks since the last league match played following a series of abandonments and re-arranged fixtures.

Batting first Carnegie got off to steady start, openers Mlambo and Knights never really looking threatened as hadleigh's bowlers struggled to find any kind of accuracy. Mlambo retired on 31 not out and whilst the batsmen that followed continued to post runs a sudden flurry of four wickets fell as successive batsmen strived to build a defendable total.

Carnegies innings closed on 123 for 4.

Carnegie's bowling attack took little time to show how effective it has been most of the season reducing the visitors to 41 for 6 off 11 overs. Hadleigh recovered a bit as the innings crept toward a conclusion but struggled to make a meaningful dent in the total they were chasing before finally closing on 90 for 9.

Man of the Match for Carnegie was Connor Betts.
